Projet Grand Site Vallée Vézère

From Terrasson to Limeuil, the Vézère Valley is composed of an outstanding archeological heritage which is known all over the world. The men have lived here for a long time.

The area has numerous  symbols and values, that is why the Vézère Valley is known as a high cultural field.

Today, the landscapes are losing their distinctive quality and their size.

The State and  the local councillors of the Vézère Valley lead a politic to develop the Valley, to get a sustainable development with both Tourism and Agriculture field.

A politic is lead to obtain a well-preserved valley with the sustainable development' s principles. The aim is to conciliate -preservation of the landscapes, giving tourists a good reception, and then the inhabitants and partners'participation of the local life-

The association of the public wills which are situated in all over the valley will may register as  “Grand Site de France”
