Les Eyzies de Tayac Sireuil
Les Eyzies de Tayac Sireuil has numerous attractions such as an exceptionally beautiful natural environment, traces of troglodyte settlements, a unique quality of life, a warm welcome and of course its prehistoric remains.
Men have lived here from time immemorial, during the Paleolithic and Neolithic ages, the Hundred Years War, the agricultural and industrial eras, the time of scientific prehistoric study and now the present period of tourism.
The village has been registered as the ' Capital of the Prehistoric Times' and has developed its tourist Infra-structure during the time of the first archeological discoveries.

From here, the prehistoric times have been built as a science with the names of Peyrony, Lartet, Capitan, and the Abbot Breuil and Glory; the Cro Magnons men had been discovered here, and we have found the world wonders of the Parietal Art: For instance, Font de Gaume which is the last polychrome painted cave opened to the public. In les Eyzies, there is the National Museum of the Prehistoric Times as well, it is the reference of the Upper Paleolithic times. And most of the collections come from the sites and mineral deposits of the Vézère Valley which is wealth of the Prehistoric remains
Since 2010, The Centre d'Accueil de la Préhistoire have been introduced by le PIP. His aim is to reinforce this device.
