The Black Périgord

The Black Périgord is located in Aquitaine, in the South East of the Département of la Dordogne.
Equidistant from Paris and Madrid and, from Bordeaux and Toulouse, different means of transport are possible to get an easy access to the area such as the motorways A89 and A20 and the airport of Brive la Gaillarde and Bergerac.

The “Pays”, territory is extended to the Dordogne and the Vézère Valley (Lascaux). Sarlat, registered as an Artistic and Historical Towns and Areas is situated a few kilometres away from the Lascaux site and the Dordogne Valley.

The Black Périgord has a pleasant climate all year long so it is as nice to come and visit this area in Summer as it is in Winter. There are several rivers which cross the wooded territory.
Thanks to the space and landscape quality, the pleasant climate and the rural life quietness, the Black Périgord can protect and develop its traditions.
