An easy (family-oriented) walk mainly along the former towpath on the bank of the Vézère. This is a great way to travel through time, from prehistory to the industrial revolution.
A view over the imposing cliff of La Roque St Christophe, then the Maison du Passeur, a reminder of the merchandise transportation activity that once blossomed along the Vézère. Some of the merchandise was unusual, such as cannons, cannonballs and even bombs headed for the National Marines from the 12th to 19th centuries!
