La boucle des Pléniers

In the heart of the Périgord Noir, near the Barade forest, which was an important area for the Resistance movement. The village of Plazac, an area that welcomes 25 nationalities, simultaneously remains "Croquant" territory. ("Croquants" were peasants who led a revolt  in the southwest of France during the 15th and mid-17th centuries.) As you wander along the Pléniers road, you'll discover a number of paths, the legendary raccoucis which led from one farm to another in past times.
