Accéder au site InternetKnown for several centuries, the 5-mile long cave at Rouffignac is one of the largest decorated caves in the Western world. During the one-hour ride in an electric train under huge natural domes or between holes excavated by bears, you may admire a group of drawings and engravings of mammoths, rhinoceros, horses, bulls and ibex, dating from approximately 13000 years ago. This tour will allow you to glimpse our ancestors' sensitivity and the importance of spirituality in their art. Booking requested for groups over 20 persons.
